Basic Locksmith Diploma -

The “Basic Locksmith” course attends classes 5 days per week for eight weeks and is “Certified and Registered at job entry level upon graduation. It teaches key identification, Warded locks, Lever locks, Disc locks, Code Books, Schlage Wafer Locks, Pin locks, Side Bar locks, Safe Combination, filing keys by hand, dismantling lock cylinders, tumbler types, making keys by impression, masterkeying, fitting tumblers to keys and keys to tumblers. Hands on involves the most common business and residential lock requests. It prepares a student to handle government, hospital, school, corporation, church, and apartment needs. It teaches lock mechanics, removal, picking, drilling, impressing, bypass, problems and cures. Graduates are prepared to open their  own shop or go to work for another locksmith.  The Basic Locksmith course earn a Diploma. Students applying for a diploma must receive no less than 60% of their training from Colorado Locksmith College.
 

BUSINESS AND COMMERCIAL COURSES

Colorado Locksmith College offers supplementary, ancillary, customized and lock maintenance classes for those needing limited training.  These courses earn a certificate and are not considered job entry level. They are designed for employees of Government and Business only. Check must be paid by business Government or company only
 
Colorado Locksmith College has adopted an open enrollment policy. Entry is permitted at any lesson, unless it is associated with a cluster of lessons depending on the first to make it comprehensible. Students missing the first must wait until the cluster is completed before entering.
 
Colorado Locksmith College reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any classes with less than six students in attendance. Those classes accepted and commencing with less than six students will remain at the discretion of the College to continue, reschedule, or cancel. (See Refund Policy)
 
Students attending supplementary, ancillary, lock maintenance, custom, and special subject classes are scheduled for like requests and taught in an independent classroom.
 
Students applying for a diploma must receive no less than 60% of their training at Colorado Locksmith College.
